LAZY BEAR RETREAT is a stunning brand-new rental cabin that opened on June 1, 2023, providing an amazing vacation experience for guests. This lodge boasts 10 bedrooms, sleeps up to 42 guests and features three levels of amenities that will delight and entertain everyone.

The lower level of LAZY BEAR RETREAT is where guests can find the family suite, complete with a king-sized bed, a set of queen bunk beds, a futon and a private full bath. This level is loaded with amenities like a movie theater room, a pool table, a shuffleboard table, video games, and a large indoor swimming pool with a separate jacuzzi. There's also a half bath and a washer and dryer available, so guests can pack light if they choose. For relaxation, there is a covered porch with comfortable seating.

The mid-level of the lodge features a fully equipped kitchen, two dining room tables, granite countertops, and bar seating. This level boasts an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room, and living room all together. The living room has lots of comfortable seating and wraps around a tall stacked stone fireplace. There's also a large TV on the mantle, and another laundry room and a half bathroom. There are four bedrooms on this level, each with a king bed and its own private bathroom. Additionally, there is a large covered porch with plenty of seating and a gas grill.

The top level features five bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms with a king-sized bed and futon and its own full bathroom. The fourth of these bedrooms includes one set of Queen-sized bunk beds, a futon and its own full bathroom. The fifth of these bedrooms includes one set of queen over king-sized bunk beds, futon and its own full bathroom. There is also a sleeper on this level for extra sleeping if needed. Guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large covered porch with plenty of seating.

LAZY BEAR RETREAT is part of the Bears Cove at the Glades Resort and sits in the middle of The Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community, also known as the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, which is a series of shops and galleries along an 8-mile two-lane loop in Sevier County, Tennessee, east of Gatlinburg. It's just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where guests can enjoy the beauty of nature.

Reservation Guarantee

The reservation guarantee amount is 8% of your total reservation and enables you to receive either a refund or reschedule (less the 8% guarantee amount and applicable tax). In order to receive a refund, you must cancel the reservation at least 15 days prior to arrival (for 1-5 bedroom cabins) and 60 days prior to arrival (for 6 bedroom and larger). Once inside the 15 days (for 1-5 bedrooms) and 60 days for (6 bedroom and larger) you may still cancel the reservation, however, the paid amount (less the reservation guarantee and applicable tax) will be placed in an interest-bearing escrow account and must be applied to a new reservation which dates fall within one year from date of cancellation. Once the one year time frame has expired all monies paid will be forfeited. In addition, please be sure to utilize the entire amount as any portion not used is non-refundable and will be lost.

Please note when booking your new reservation, you will again have the option to purchase the Reservation Guarantee HOWEVER, the guarantee would only allow you to reschedule again should the need arise. It would not allow you to receive a refund. The Reservation Guarantee amount will be based on the new reservation total. Without the Reservation Guarantee, no refunds or reschedules will be allowed. Unfortunately we can not offer refunds for early departures for any reason including weather and/or road conditions.

Though the deposit guarantee is an optional charge, Hearthside has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
